Bowie Swim and Dive Coaches

Head Coach Chloe Carr
Chloe grew up in Seattle, WA where she swam competitively for 5 years before she moved to Apex, NC in 2012 and swam competitively with Raleigh Swimming Association until she went to college in 2015. She also swam for her High School in Washington for 2 years before moving. She went on to swim for 2 seasons at Pacific Lutheran University, a Division III swim program in Washington state, where she placed Top 3 in her conference in 2015 and 2016. She retired from swimming when she left PLU and transferred to East Carolina University.
Before Chloe started coaching with Bowie she started out coaching summer league in Raleigh in 2014, coached club for 2 years, and was the head coach for Franklinton High School 2019-2022. When she was in high school she swam with Raleigh Swim Association and also coached on the coaching staff her senior year.

Asst. Coach Laura Dubois
This is Laura DuBois’ eighth year coaching for the Bowie Bulldogs! In addition to coaching, Laura teaches visual art courses: AP Art & Design, Drawing II and Art I.
Laura DuBois was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where she began swimming competitively at the age of seven. Laura was a member of the Long Island Express Swim Club and swam varsity from the seventh grade until her senior year of high school. After high school, Laura continued her swimming career at Springfield College in Massachusetts, where she focused on distance events. At Springfield, she was a member of two consecutive NEWMAC Conference Championships (2009-2010).
Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Springfield College and her master’s degree in Studio Art from Adelphi University.
Before Bowie, Laura taught for the New York City Department of Education.
