Hello Bowie Swim & Dive Team! We hope you’re all having a fun & safe Labor Day weekend!
A few reminders for this week:
● King & Queen of Springs is this Wednesday! Please arrive at Barton Springs pool by 6:15 am on Wednesday, September 6th. The event will start at 6:45am, with a 1-mile run, followed immediately by a swim from the shallow end of the pool to the dam and back. The winning male & female will be crowned the King & Queen of Springs! Remember to wear your running shoes and your swimsuit. Breakfast will be served after the event. There is no organized transportation to Barton Springs or to school, so please plan ahead & carpool. Suggested parking is in the front lot, closest to Barton Springs Road and the upper lot (near the Trail of Lights “Christmas Tree”).
● Membership Fees & Spirit Wear Purchases: If you have not done so already, please deliver a check for membership fees &/or spirit wear purchases to Bowie Swim & Dive Treasurer as soon as possible, ℅ Aurora Jones, 6920 Hansa Loop, Austin 78739. School Cash Online is also an option for payment of membership fees (not spirit wear purchases). Please be aware that there is a 4.5% fee added to all School Cash Online transactions.
