DESCRIPTION:Each year the Bowie Swim & Dive team freshman kids host “Freshman Breakfast”. Freshman breakfast is when the freshman swimmers and parents buy/prepare and serve breakfast to the entire team! This year the Freshman Breakfast will be on Thursday\, November 17\, 2022\, and I need 2 parents to volunteer to be the head volunteer parents for this event. This is first come/first serve on whoever texts Melinda Ferguson at 512-627-9858 first with their name and swimmer’s name!\n\nOnce we have the head volunteers\, they will send a sign-up out to all the other freshman parents so there will be lots of opportunities to help if you don’t make it 1st or 2nd. We hope you all can come and enjoy this fun event for our Freshmen:)

DESCRIPTION:Below is the timeline for Aggieland.  Coach Carr will be sending heat sheets\, parking instructions\, and other details later this week.\n\n\nStudents need to be at Bowie no later than 5:40 AM.\nThe bus will depart Bowie at 6:00 AM (latest 6:15 AM).\nWe will provide a light breakfast – mini muffins\, fruit\, juice\, water\, and milk.\nThe bus arrives at Texas A&M Recreational Center around 8:00 AM\nSwimmers/Divers will enter the Natatorium at 8:15 AM\nWarmups begin at 8:45 AM\nPrelims start at 10:15 AM\nLunch will be delivered (or parents pickup) at 12:30 PM.  Lunch will be served like last year on the front lawn with tents for shade AFTER Prelims is over.  The students can relax and take naps\, etc. but stay with the group\, unless otherwise instructed.\nSwimmers/Divers will enter the Natatorium together at 4:15 PM.\nGirls Diving and Finals warm-up 4:30 PM\nGirls Diving meet starts at 5:00 PM (All swimmers watching and cheering from the stands)\nSwim Finals meet begins at 5:30 PM\nBoys Diving warm up at 6:00 PM\nBoys Diving meet begins at 6:30 PM\nAll events will be over around 7:30 PM\nEveryone is back on the bus no later than 15 minutes after the meet and awards.\nThe Bus departs Texas A&M around 8:00 PM\nDinner will be provided on the bus ride home.\nThe Bus arrives back at Bowie around 10:00 PM.\n\nALL Students will ride the bus from Bowie High School to Texas A&M and back home on November 12\, 2022.  If your student will not be riding the bus\, coaches MUST receive written notification at least one week in advance.

DESCRIPTION:Teams: Dripping Springs\,  Austin Bowie \nDate: Thursday October 20\, 2022 \nLocation:  Dripping Springs Family YMCA 27216 Ranch Rd 12 Dripping Springs\, TX 78620 parking behind the facility \nTransportation & School: We were only given a bus for the ride BACK to school. If any swimmers need help getting to the meet in the morning\, please reach out to the coaches ASAP. \nWarm Up: 7:25am \nSwim Competition Start: 8:00 am \nEnd time: 10am \nSchool/ Excused: All competing swimmers will be excused for 1/2 a day only. Everyone is expected to go to school after the meet (by 1:20/ 7th period). An AISD bus will pick up the swimmers at the Dripping Springs YMCA and go back to Bowie. \nEvents: . HS swim meet (no diving) \nEntries: Every athlete is entered in this meet (unless they communicated that plan to attend a full day of school). \nMeals: All athletes will be provided food at the end of the meet! \nSpectators & Volunteering: All are welcome to attend! Our team needs to provide two timers for the meet.

DESCRIPTION:A parking map is attached. Parking at the Round Rock Aquatic Center is tight\, and it’s a 5-ish minute walk from the overflow parking area. We will have people posted at the front door if you would like to drop off equipment\, chairs\, tents\, etc.\n\nParents may want to bring bleacher seats. There is a good amount of bleacher seating – but it’s a long day on metal\, backless seats. We recommend a cushion with a back! There is also some space available behind the bleachers where you can set up your own chair. That space will fill up quickly!\n\nThere will be a hospitality area for coaches and officials\, and a small concession stand selling limited amounts of water\, Gatorade\, soda\, coffee\, breakfast tacos\, snacks\, fruit\, and Chick-Fil-A sandwiches (or a sandwich combo – sandwich\, chips\, drink).
